Jack Hohn

I'm a 4th year student from Los Angeles, currently pursuing a major in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian Studies, and a minor in Computer Science. I studied abroad in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan during Summer 2023, and it was one of the most rewarding and fun experiences of my life. One of my favorite experiences while studying there was going on a 3-day horse riding trip through the Tian-Shan mountains, which was one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. During my time there, I lived with a host family, so I was able to practice and improve my Russian significantly and have an authentic experience of life there. If you're considering study abroad, I highly recommend it. Even your daily life will feel like an adventure. No matter what your major or budget is, there's certainly a program out there for you.
