Warren in Madrid
Why you should go
The theme of this global seminar is transformation. We go abroad to expand our horizons, something few cities can do as well as Madrid, one of Europe's major cultural capitals. We will read Don Quixote, a masterpiece of not only Spanish but global literature that deeply affirms the human capacity for self-transformation. We will also examine issues related to authority and authoritarianism, taking special note of how the questions they raise do and do not change when examined in a Spanish context as opposed to an American one.
Courses
- PHIL 28GS: Ethics and Society II (draft PDF)
